President Ramchandra Paudel has appointed Purna Bahadur Nepali as Nepal’s residential ambassador to Sri Lanka.
The Head of the State appointed Nepali on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, the Office of the President said on Monday.
A Cabinet meeting in November last year recommended Nepali for the position.
A resident of ward 2 of Buddhabhumi Municipality in Kapilvastu, Nepali was appointed after the Parliamentary Hearing Committee endorsed his name.
