A fire destroyed three houses in Manbu, in ward 1 of Arughat Rural Municipality in Gorkha district, on Saturday evening.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Indra Prasad Subedi, the houses belonging to Purna Bahadur Lama, Buddhiman Lama and Aitasingh Lama were destroyed in the incident.
The incident happened as the corn stover piled up near the kitchen of one of the houses caught fire. The financial loss has yet to be assessed, said police.
