Fire engulfs hotel in Pokhara

A fire broke out at Hotel Sarowar located in Lakeside, Pokhara, on Wednesday morning.
According to Superintendent of Police Arun Kumar Sharma, chief of the Armed Police Force Kalika Battalion, the fire engulfed the store and spa on the first floor. The fire is said to have been caused by an electrical short circuit in the spa.
A team of 15 personnel from the battalion and another team from the Baidam ward office responded to control the blaze.
According to Sharma, there were no reported casualties, although details regarding other damages are yet to be calculated.
