Two riders die in road accidents

Two riders died in separate accidents at Hetauda and Palpa on Monday.
According to the district police office Makwanpur, the truck en route to Hetauda from Chitwan hit the motorcyclist Abhishek Subedi, 25, of Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-9 along the East-West Highway.
Police have impounded the vehicle and arrested truck driver Chandra Prasad Chaudhary.
Similarly, Yam Bahadur Kharu, 40, of Rampur municipality-10 died in a scooter accident on Monday morning.
The scooter collided with a roadside pole and overturned along the Kaligandaki corridor, Shalikram Khanal, in charge of the area police office, Rampur, said.
Kharu, injured in the accident, was rushed to Rampur Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
