An employee of the Makalu Barun National Park has been found dead.
Keshar Karki, 50, who served as a game scout at the park, was found dead on Sunday in Makalu Rural Municipality-3, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Ghana Shyam Shrestha.
Locals reported to the authorities after finding Karki some distance away from the park office. It is suspected that Karki died after falling off a cliff.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
