Hearing committee to seek complaints against chief justice nominee Karki
He will be appointed after hearing committee approves the nomination.

The Parliamentary Hearing Committee has decided to seek public complaints against the chief justice nominee Hari Krishna Karki.
A meeting of the committee held on Tuesday decided to call for complaints within ten days after publishing a notice on Wednesday.
The meeting of the Constitutional Council on May 8 had nominated the seniormost justice of the Supreme Court Karki for the new Chief Justice.
Karki will be appointed by President Ramchandra Paudel after the parliamentary hearing committee approves the nomination.
Karki has been leading the apex court as Acting Chief Justice since October 5, last year. The Supreme Court has been headless after the then chief justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana faced an impeachment motion in the second week of February last year. Rana retired on December 13 without the Parliament deciding on the motion.
