Nepal Oil Corp slashes fuel prices

The Nepal Oil Corporation on Monday reduced the prices of petrol and diesel, effective from Monday midnight.
According to Nepal Oil Corporation, the prices of petrol has been reduced by Rs3 per litre while prices of diesel and kerosene have been reduced by Rs10 per litre.
With the price revision, petrol will cost Rs175 per liter, and diesel/kerosene will now cost Rs165 per liter.
The corporation has also reduced aviation turbine fuel prices.
Aviation fuel sold to domestic has been reduced by Rs10 per litre to Rs160 per litre. The aviation fuel sold to international airlines has come down to $1.35 per litre, from $1.42 per litre.
The price of liquefied petroleum gas, however, has remains unchanged at Rs1,800 per cylinder.
