Two locals injured in leopard attack

Two villagers of Palhinandan Rural Municipality-4 in West Nawalparasi were injured in an attack by a leopard on Thursday.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Bhojraj Pandey, Gajendra Koiri, 45, and Sampat Bhar, 18, of Bairahawa village sustained injuries in the incident.
The leopard attacked them while they were working in a mango grove.
The injured are receiving treatment at Palhinandan Hospital in Lauhari.
A technical team from the district forest office has been deployed to search for the leopard.
