Embassy urges Nepalis in earthquake-hit areas to come in contact
Over 3,700 people have been killed after a 7.8 magnitude earthquake jolted Turkey and Syria.

Nepali Embassy in Islamabad has urged all Nepali citizens stranded in areas affected by the powerful earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria on Monday to come in contact with the embassy.
All those concerned have been requested to get in touch with their families and relatives and inform them of their situation as soon as possible.
“The Embassy of Nepal in Islamabad has been in regular contact with the Nepali citizens stranded in the earthquake-hit areas,” reads the notice by the embassy. “We also request everyone to help fellow Nepalis in need and help those who have yet to get in touch with their family, relatives and friends.”

An earthquake of 7.8 magnitude struck Turkey and northwest Syria on Monday, killing 3,700 people. More than 13,000 people have been injured in Turkey from the quake while the number of those injured in Syria stands at 3,500.
