CIAA files graft case against five persons
Government officials have been accused of transferring public land to individual ownership.

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority has filed a graft case at the Special Court against five persons including Parsa District Land Revenue Office Chief Kamod Tiwari.
The anti-graft body charge sheeted Tiwari, then Nayab Subba (non-gazetted first class officer) Sambhu Sah Rauniyar, then Kharidar (non-gazetted second class officer) duo Shiva Prasad Sah Teli and Rinta Kumari for allegedly transferring ownership of the land of Youth Sports Club to an individual.
They have been accused of transferring the ownership of the land to Seshafi Ahmed, who has been also named as a defendant in the case filed on Friday.
CIAA spokesperson Shyam Prasad Bhandari said the case has been filed at the court seeking punishment as per Section 9 and Section 12 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 2002.
