CPN-UML secretary Gokarna Bista has been re-elected to the House of Representatives from his home district Gulmi for the fourth time. 

Bista secured 28,476 votes to secure a victory in Gulmi-2. His closest competitor Ram Kumari Jhakri of the CPN (Unified Socialist) stood second with 26,442 votes.

Bista had won elections from Gulmi in 1999, 2013, and 2017.
