Two persons died and six others sustained injuries when a bus they were travelling in met with an accident in Dhangadhi on Friday.
According to Sub-Inspector Nawaraj Shahi of the Lamki Traffic Police, the incident occurred when the bus driver tried to save a cyclist. The bus (Se 1 Kha 1188) was heading towards Lamki from Chisapani of Kailali when the incident took place.
Cyclist Anil Badi and bus passenger Patharum Tamang died in the accident.
The injured are receiving treatment at the Lal Ratna Hospital in Lamki.
