Police have arrested a person on charges of raping his daughter from Badhaiyatal Rural Municipality-8 in Bardiya district on Tuesday.

The 63-year-old man had raped his 19-year-old daughter multiple times since October 2017, informed Area Police Office, Mainapokhari Inspector Ganesh Singh Mahata.

The victim was staying at her father’s home after her husband went abroad for work.

Likewise, Inspector Mahata further informed that the victim is seven months pregnant and is also suffering from thyroid ailment.

The police informed the victim registered a rape case against her father after her husband returned home from abroad.
