NOC hikes prices of petro products yet again

The state-owned monopoly has decided to increase Rs 3 per litre in petrol, diesel and kerosene.
The corporation has increased the aviation fuel sold for domestic and international airlines by Rs5 per litre and $75 per kilolitre, respectively.
With the revised price, petrol now costs Rs113 per litre. Similarly, diesel and kerosene each will cost Rs 95 per litre. There has been no change in the price of cooking gas.
"The fuel prices were revised in the line with the price list forwarded by Indian Oil Corporation, NOC’s sole supplier,” NOC’s spokesperson Birendra Goit said.
This is the ninth time that the NOC revised the prices of petroleum products this year.
