Strong winds blew away roofs of 70 houses and knocked down over a dozen trees at Gohana in Daduwa Ruraul Municipality-5 of Banke district on Tuesday night.

Strong winds blew away roofs of 70 houses and knocked down over a dozen trees at Gohana in Daduwa Ruraul Municipality-5 of Banke district on Tuesday night. People have been left in lurch after the winds blew away the roofs of houses.
A girl child was injured when a zinc sheet that fell from the roof hit her. Gita Kumai, 12, sustained injuries in her hand and other parts of the body and undergoing treatment at the Nepalgunj Teaching Hospital, Kohalpur, ward Chairman Parshuram Budhathoki said.
Similarly, power supply in ward 4 and 5 has been disrupted after the storm uprooted electricity polls.
Locals have been left panic stricken due to disruption of power supply during the summer season.
