Nepali Congress (NC) leader Khum Bahadur Khadka who died at New Delhi’s Apollo Hospital on Friday, will be cremated at Pashupati Aryaghat in Kathmandu on Sunday. His body was brought to Kathmandu on Saturday night.
Khadka’s body has been kept at party office in Sanepa, Lalitpur for final tributes. The body will be directly taken to Pashupati Aryaghat from the NC office.
NC Central Working Committee meeting scheduled for Sunday was postponed until next notice to mourn Khadka’s demise.
Khadka, 68, had earlier undergone kidney transplant, and was suffering from multiple ailments. He was hospitalised a month ago.
