Chinese envoy hails bilateral ties under NC-led govt

She also appreciated the positive development in bilateral ties between Nepal
and China during Deuba’s leadership.
The Chinese ambassador also congratulated Prime Minister Deuba for successfully holding the local and general elections. Nepal has now entered a new phase of political stability and development, Yu told Deuba.
According to Dinesh Bhattarai, foreign relations adviser of the prime minister, said that the Chinese envoy said that some positive development took place under Deuba’s premiership, including the progress in the Belt and Road Initiative.
China remains Nepal’s good friend and a reliable development partner, the prime minister told the Chinese envoy, adding that Nepal looks forward to and is willing to support more Chinese investment in Nepal.
According to Bhattarai, Ambassador Yu told Prime Minister Deuba that Chinese leadership emphasized good relations with its neighbours and wanted to create an arc of common destiny and future.
Prime Minister Deuba and Ambassador Yu also discussed about strengthening the party-to-party relations between Nepali Congress (NC) and Communist Party
of China.
NC is the oldest party in Nepal and always wants to have good ties with China, Prime Minister Deuba, also the president of NC, told Ambassador Yu.
