Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal (RJP-N) Presidium leader Rajendra Mahato has emerged victorious in Dhanusa constituency-3 on Saturday.
He defeated his rival candidate Bimalendra Nidhi of Nepali Congress with a margin of 2914 votes.
Mahato mustered 30,742 votes while Nidhi garnered 27,828 votes.
