Relatives, builders obstruct Maitighar-Tinkune road to protest FCAN Chairman Gauchan’s murder
Construction entrepreneurs and relatives of Federation of Contractors' Associations of Nepal (FCAN), Sharad Kumar Gauchan, have obstructed the Maitighar-Tinkune road in protest against the murder of Gauchan.

Construction entrepreneurs and relatives of Federation of Contractors' Associations of Nepal (FCAN), Sharad Kumar Gauchan, have obstructed the Maitighar-Tinkune road in protest against the murder of Gauchan. They have been chanting slogans demanding the arrest of Gauchan’s killers and action against the guilty.
Gauchan was shot dead by unknown assailants at Om Shanti chok in Shantinagar, Kathmandu on Monday afternoon. Immediately after he was shot, Gauchan was rushed to Minbhawan-based Civil Hospital where the doctors declared him dead on arrival.
According to attending doctors, he had sustained three bullets in his abdomen.
