Rautes in Dailekh district have received help from the Home Ministry to celebrate this year's Dashain festival.
The ministry, in coordination with District Administration Office Dailekh, distributed 25 quintals of rice, 44 kg pulses, 44 kg salt, 22 liters edible oil and four goats to the people of the nomadic tribe at Kusapani in Bhairavi Rural Municipality of the district. A free health camp was also organised in the rural municipality for the people of the tribe.

One campaigner said various edible items were provided to the people instead of cash this time around after they blew away previous cash assistance in booze.

Rautes were thankful towards Home Minister Janardan Sharma for providing them with essentials for the festival.
