Flood alert on Bhotekoshi
The Bhotekoshi river has been partially blocked due to a landslide near the Larcha bridge on the Kodari Highway some 24 kilometres upstream of Barhabise, Sindhu-palchok, the flood forecast division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology said in a special bulletin on Sunday evening.bookmark

The Bhotekoshi river has been partially blocked due to a landslide near the Larcha bridge on the Kodari Highway some 24 kilometres upstream of Barhabise, Sindhu-palchok, the flood forecast division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology said in a special bulletin on Sunday evening.
The division stated that the scale of landslide and river blockage could not be immediately ascertained, warning of possible danger from continued rainfall in the catchment area. People living in the riverside areas have been alerted to take precautionary measures.
