A woman and her daughter died after they were struck by lightning in Letang Municipality, Morang, on Wednesday morning.
Area Police Office, Letang, informed Chandra Tamang, 47, and her daughter, Sushma, 19, were killed in the lightning.
The duos were struck at around 8 am while working on their field. They died while undergoing treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan, police said.
