Three teenagers have been missing after being swept by the Seti River at Pashupatighat stretch in Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolitan City – 33 on Monday.
The missing teenagers have been identified as Sangita Nepali, 18, Dhwani Nepali, 19, and Sunil Pariyar, 17, of Tafe area of Dang. They were swept away by the raging river while they were taking bath after completing their day's work of digging up sand from the river, said spokesperson at Kaski District Police Office, Khadka Bahadur Khatri.
Another youth, Gomche Nepali, who was taking bath with the three missing youths, first reported the incident to the police.
Meanwhile, the authorities are conducting a search to find the missing youths.
