A incident of a 54–year–old woman being thrashed to death here at Ghiring rural municipality–4 of Tanahun on July 15 has come to light two days after the incident.
RSS quoting Tanahun's Superintendent of Police (SP) Umesh Raj Joshi reported that Dolmaya Ranabhat of Dumriswanra area was beaten to death by Bhim Bahadur Ranabhat, 28. Bhim Bahadur was arrested immediately after the crime, it is learnt.
The victim, Dolmaya, was killed when she was alone in the house. Her family members had gone to attend a wedding ceremony on the day when the youth found her alone at a cowshed and beat her up to death.
The police is yet to ascertain the cause for the incident.
