Nawalparasi police have arrested a 14-yearl-old boy with controlled pharmaceutical drugs from Kawasoti in the district on Sunday.
The arrestee has been identified Arjun Lama, a resident of Bharatpur Municipality-9 in Chitwan district.
Police seized the illegal drugs from the minor during a security check on a bus heading for Narayangadh. Police recovered 100 files of Nitrosun, 10 files of Phenergan, among other prescription drugs, and four syringes from the boy.
Nawalpur Area Police Office have taken the minor into custody and started investigation, it is learnt. Police suspect the child could have been used as ‘mule’ to transport the drugs.
