Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Krishna Bahadur Mahara has said that the local level polls in Province 2 will be held only after the amendment to the constitution.
In a press meet organised by the Press Centre, Dang chapter on Saturday, DPM Mahara added that the main opposition CPN-UML also should cooperate for the constitution amendment process.
He further said that the government had postponed the local level elections in province 2 to ensure the participation of all political parties in the elections.
