A pressure cooker bomb exploded near Ganesh temple at Bhagawati block of Tansen on Tuesday.
District Police Office, Palpa has stated that human casualties and physical damages were spared in the sudden explosion.
Investigation into the explosion has been launched, according to Superintendent of Police (SP) Hariraj Wagle.
The explosion comes in the wake of the nationwide general strike called by Biplav led Nepal Communist Party today.
Police suspect the party's cadres to be behind the explosion, but they are yet to find any pamphlets or notices at the site of the explosion. RSS
