A murder case has been filed against 40 individual including former Minister of State and CPN (Maoist Centre) leader Devi Khadka at the Dolakha District Court on Sunday.A murder case has been filed against 40 individual including former Minister of State and CPN (Maoist Centre) leader Devi Khadka at the Dolakha District Court on Sunday.
The murder case was filed by the district government attorney Kailash Dahal in relation to the killing of one Kul Bahadur Tamang, 33, of Gaurishankar Village Council prior to the first phase of local level elections.
Tamang, son of Gore Tamang, CPN-UML candidate for Gaurishankar Village Council ward no 1, was allegedly killed by CPN (MC) cadres after a clash erupted between UML and Maoist supporters at Jugu in Gaurishankar Village Council-2 on May 10.
Police had arrested 9 people and begun probe into the incident after Tamang's family members filed a complaint.
Meanwhile, the police are yet to arrest former state minister Khadka, party’s central secretariat member Ganga Karki and district assistant in-charge Bishal Khadka.
