Govt to grant Rs15 million to Pun’s project

According to Industry Minister Nabindra Raj Joshi, the government had decided to encourage Pun with the grant to pursue research and innovation for public good.
Meanwhile, to aid the development of eye lens by the Nepal Eye Programme led by Dr Sanduk Ruit, the government decided to allocate Rs100 million.
Minister Joshi said Ruit’s eye lens programme was one of the best products of the country. He said the government has also taken an initiative to set up an Industrial Development Fund of Rs500 billion with help from the Non-resident Nepali Association and the private sector.
