A man died in police firing at Powati booth in Melung Village Council of Dolakha district.

A man died in police firing at Powati booth in Melung Village Council of Dolakha district.
The incident occurred after police opened fire when cadres of Nepali Congress-CPN (Maoist Center) coalition attacked police to capture booths in the polling station.
The deceased has been identified as Nakul Bhujel. Locals said other people were also injured in the incident.
Situation has became tense in various election centers of Dolakha-1 since early morning.
