Newly appointed judges of the High Courts took the oath of office and secrecy amid a function at the Supreme Court in the Capital on Wednesday.
Chief Judges of the related seven High Courts administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed judges in the presence of Chief Justice Sushila Karki.
The meeting of the Judicial Council on January 12 had recommended the names of 80 judges to seven high courts.
CJ Karki had on January 13 appointed the judges and installed them in the respective courts.
Present on the occasion were Chief Justice Karki, Law Minister Ajay Shankar Nayak and SC judges. RSS
