Gyewali gets letter that seeks to send him packing
The second letter seeking clarification was handed over to Sushil Gyewali, chief executive officer of the National Reconstruction Authority (NRA), on Friday.
The second letter seeking clarification was handed over to Sushil Gyewali, chief executive officer of the National Reconstruction Authority (NRA), on Friday.
Gyewali acknowledged receiving the letter from the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
“I will furnish my clarification detailing the challenges in coordination and execution of reconstruction work and the progress made so far,” said Gyewali.
The government on Thursday decided to seek clarification from Gyewali, asking him why he should not be relieved of his duties.
The government decision on Thursday to seek clarification from the NRA chief came a day after he furnished clarification in response to an earlier letter dated December 29.
The move of seeking clarification a second time within a week is being seen as part of the governing parties’ plan to sack Gyewali from the post of NRA chief.
