Former President Dr Ram Baran Yadav is now cancer-free.
According to Anita Yadav, daughter of former President Yadav, the doctors attending to Yadav at the Henry Ford Hospital at Detroit in the USA declared so following a successful surgery of prostate cancer held on October 2.
She said, "He is now cancer-free. Doctors have advised him a rest and have told him to eat high-protein diet."
A four-member team headed by Dr Mani Menon had conducted surgery on Yadav.
Former President Yadav is scheduled to return home in the last week of October. RSS
