At least 17 people, including two children, were injured when a roadside eatery collapsed near Bhatkanda Bazaar in Dadeldhura on Tuesday.
Former state minister Janak Bahadur Shah is among the injured. According to police, Baitadi Samarai Hotel collapsed when the passengers headed for Achham from Kathmandu were having their lunch.
There were more than
three dozen people when the building collapsed. The eatery was being run in a hut that was completed only a week ago. DSP Bipin Karmacharya said the injured were taken to the Dadeldhura Sub-regional Hospital. (PR)
