Local leaders of Samyukta Loktantrik Madheshi Morcha enforced an hour-long transportation strike at Saptari on Friday in protest against government apathy to address their demands.
The strike was carried out at Rajbiraj-Rupani road section as the Morcha’s pre-scheduled protest programmes. The disruption tendered difficulty to the travelling passengers.
Rastriya Madhes Sadbhawana Party President Rajendra Mandal warned the government of further severe protests if their demands were not addressed in time.
