Talks futile sans concrete proposal, says Thakur
Tarai Madhes Loktantrik Party Chairman Mahanta Thakur said the government has been playing with the Madhes-based parties in the name of talks. Meanwhile, Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha protesters torched a tractor (Ja 1 Ta 6185) at Srinagar along East-West Highway in Sarlahi. The tractor was loaded with drums filled with diesel and petrol.
Likewise, in Kakadvitta, tanker drivers refused to go Panitanki in India to bring petroleum products city insecurity, a Nepal Oil Corporation official said. Some tanker drivers were manhandled in the area two days ago.
