Pathao Nepal, which has evolved from a ride-sharing platform into a super app, has now expanded its services to allow users to book helicopters directly through its mobile application.

One of Nepal’s leading mobility platforms has launched the helicopter booking service, “Pathao Heli”, in collaboration with Simrik Airlines.

According to the company, Pathao Nepal’s journey that began with ride-sharing has now expanded through parcel delivery, food delivery and home services to include helicopter services. Users can now conveniently book helicopter rides with price details through the Pathao app or via the website, PathaoHeli.com.

The company said helicopter bookings will be available for religious, natural and tourist destinations, including Muktinath, Gosainkunda, Everest Base Camp and Annapurna Base Camp. Each helicopter can accommodate four to five passengers at a time.

Pathao said the service would be suitable for pilgrimages, scenic trips for newlyweds, family tours and short trips with friends to various tourist destinations.

“Our goal is to grow Nepal’s digital economy. We are moving forward by integrating mobility, parcel delivery, food delivery and e-commerce into a single platform,” said Yashu Thakali, managing director of Pathao Nepal.
