Post Report
Skywalk Kathmandu, an urban attraction located in Kamaladi, has entered its third year of operation. Managed by Wonders Nepal Pvt Ltd, the tower is known for its views of the Kathmandu Valley.
To mark the anniversary, the company is offering a complimentary mug with a visitor’s photograph for every full-priced ticket purchased without a discount. The promotion will run for three months, according to company chairman Tej Bahadur Singh.
Built on 13 ropanis of land, the 78.5-metre-high tower features a glass-floored platform on the 25th floor. The structure includes two lifts, each with the capacity to carry 45 people at a time. The upper deck can accommodate up to 500 visitors.
According to managing director Bishnuhari Pandey, the tower offers a 360-degree view of Kathmandu and is 16 metres taller than the historic Dharahara. Entry remains free for senior citizens over 80 and children under three feet in height.
