Beanstalk Asia Nepal, Water Communication, and Nepal Traveller hosted a two-day Nepal Hospitality Conclave in Kathmandu.
The event brought together key stakeholders to discuss challenges, opportunities, and strategies in the tourism industry. Supported by Hotel Association Nepal, this Hospitality Conclave was hosted in line with Nepal’s declaration of 2025 as a ‘Special Tourism Year’ and the ‘Nepal Tourism Decade.’
To capture and embrace the spirit of this tourism decade, the Conclave featured over 20 national and international panellists speaking on important tourism topics to maximise Nepal’s tourism potential, including marketing and promotion, destination development, investment, and policy reforms needed for tourism prosperity.
This event was supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Trade and Competitiveness and over a dozen national and multinational private firms.
In her remarks, USAID Nepal’s Deputy Mission Director, Karen Welch, said, “USAID remains deeply committed to strengthening Nepal’s tourism sector through collaboration with the government of Nepal, local communities, and businesses like yours.”
