Nepal has seen a slight increase in the per capita gross national income from last fiscal year.
Unveiling the budget for fiscal 2024-25, Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun said that the per capita income of Nepalis had reached $1,456.
This is an increase from $1,405 in the last fiscal.
The per capita income means the average annual income of a person.
Likewise, the per capita gross domestic product (GDP) has also risen to $1,434 in the current fiscal year, from $1,389 in the last fiscal year.Most Read from Money
