Shree Ganapati Jewellers opens second showroom
Shree Ganapati Jewellers has opened a second showroom at Capital Building, Durbar Marg named Navaratna Jewellers. The company offers a wide range of premium crafted gold, silver and diamond jewellery from the showroom which occupies 1,300 square feet. It also launched new jewellery designs on the occasion of the inauguration. According to the company, all jewellery is sold with a 100 percent buy-back guarantee. Navaratna Jewellers said that the products offered at the showroom were of the highest quality and featured excellent craftsmanship and exquisite designs.
Shakti Begani, managing director of the company, said they opened the new outlet to cater to the increased demand for international standard jewellery in the country. “Demand for jewellery has been increasing rapidly, but there is lack of traditionally designed jewellery,” he said. “So we opened Navaratna from where customers can get jewellery which completely matches Nepali culture.” He added that they wanted to attract customers who buy ornaments for their design rather than as an investment. “Around 70 percent of the buyers in Nepal buy jewellery as an investment, but we want to attract those kinds of buyers who have a complete passion for jewellery,” he said.
He also said that they planned to unveil jewellery products targeting all religious groups. Ganapati has hired local and foreign designers to give their products international and national fusion.
Begani added that demand for diamond jewellery had also been swelling so they expanded their line of diamond jewellery. Prices of diamond jewellery start at Rs 10,000 and go as high as desired by the customer. Navaratna Jewellers offers various types of gold jewellery ranging from earrings to necklaces with the weight starting at 1 gm. Likewise, the store features a wide range of silver crafted jewellery.
Ganapati Jewellery opened for business in 2010 with the inauguration of its first showroom in Kathmandu. Begani said that they planned to launch a new collection of traditional Nepali jewellery within five months.
