Students of MBBS at Gandaki Medical College took out a silent rally in Pokhara on Sunday, demanding the college to follow the government-determined fee amount. The agitating students took out the rally from Nayabazaar-based Gandaki Medical College and moved around the city. They also submitted separate memorandums to Social Development Minister of Gandaki Province Naradevi Pun and Chief District Officer of Kaski Bir Bahadur Budha over the issue. The MBBS students claim that the college charged them Rs 1.3 million more than the government fixed amount. (PR)
