Police seized five muskets and 500 kg marijuana from Owang in Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-2 of Dhading on Friday. Acting on a tip-off, a joint police team from Makwanpur and Dhading raided the houses of Sano Kanchha Lama, Bir Bahadur Tamang and Thulo Kancha Tamang. The security personnel seized the marijuana along with the muskets while the smugglers were preparing to export them through Makwanpur. Owang is a remote village in Dhading that borders with Makwanpur. (PR)
