An unidentified group robbed Dhaneshwor Mahato, the chairman of Maharani Savings and Credit Cooperative Limited, of Rs990,000 at the Banke forest in Sarlahi district on Thursday. Police said Mahato was on his way to office on a motorcycle when four unidentified people looted him. Security in the surrounding area has been tightened and search for the gang is underway, according to Sarlahi police. (PR)
