President Bidya Devi Bhandari arrived in Warsaw, Poland, on Sunday to participate in the 24th session of the Framework Convention on Climate Change. The President is scheduled to present Nepal’s official view on climate change at the summit, which will have participation from 196 countries.
She will also hold talks with her Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda. President Bhandari is accompanied by Minister for Forest and Environment Shakti Bahadur Basnet, MPs Purna Kumari Subedi, Krishna Gopal Shrestha, Puspha Bhusal, Chandra Chaudhary and Ram Sahaya Yadav, officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and experts from environment and media sectors.
