NSU general secretary undergoes emergency surgery following heart-attack

Nepal Student Union (NSU) General Secretary Kundan Kafle has undergone heart surgery at Bansbari-based Shahid Gangalal National Heart Centre after suffering from cardiac arrest on Friday.
According to the doctors, an artery in Kafle’s heart was blocked and he suffered three attacks.
NSU leader Baldev Timilsina informed that the doctors performed an emergency surgery to clear the blockage at the valve and Kafle is out of danger.
Doctors involved in the treatment have not informed further on the health condition of the NSU general secretary.
