At least 25 persons were injured when a bus they were travelling in met with an accident at Amarapuri in Nawalparasi district on Monday.

Among the injured, three persons are said to be in critical condition.

According to the District Police Office, Nawalparasi, the bus (Na 6 Kha 3973) heading towards Kathmandu from Dang met with the accident this morning.

Police said that Hom Bahadur Pokharel, 28, of Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City-15, Dang, one-year-old Yunish BK of Shantinagar Rural Municipality, Dang and Laxmi Basnet, 24, of Tulsipur are in critical condition.

Of the injured, 19 are undergoing treatment at the New Medical College, Bharatpur and six are receiving treatment at the Old Medical College, police said.
