A rhinoceros was found dead at Sehari, Madhyabindu Municipality-2 in Nawalparasi district on Thursday.

The cause of the death of around two-and-half-year- old female rhino is yet to be ascertained, said Nurendra Aryal, Assistant Conservation Officer of Chitwan National Park.

A team of veterinary doctors said that cause would be known after the postmortem, he added.

Aryal presumed that the rhino might have died in a fight with another rhino.
