A man allegedly stabbed his wife to death in Rolpa.
Police said that Suklal Sarki, 43, of Pakhapani, Gangadev Rural Municipality-5 murdered his wife Devisara, 39, by attacking her with a khukuri over a minor dispute on Wednesday.
Following the incident, a police team deployed from the District Police Office, Rolpa reached the site and arrested Suklal, DSP Deepak Khadka said.
The murder accused Suklal is suffering from mental illness, police quoted locals as saying.
He has three sons and four daughters.
The body of Devsara has been taken to Rolpa Hospital for postmortem.
