Two persons are missing after a boat capsized in the Karnali river in Kailali on Monday evening.
Police said on Tuesday that Samir Badela, 22, and Purushottam Chaudhary, 23, of Joshipur Rural Municipality-5 are missing in the incident.
Boatman Prakash Bista and two other passengers Dushanta Hamal and Chakra Bidari survived the incident.
The wooden boat capsized near Pitmari area at the border of Mohanyal and Lamkichuha municipalities.
The four passengers were reportedly drunk when they got onto the boat.
Boatman Bista told police that the accident occurred when the four men rocked the boat.
